Every person needs the support of others, but we look for very special people to support (INSERT POPULATION - individuals with disabilities; children with emotional, behavioral or medical complexities; children and adults with brain injury). As a Behavior Specialist with (INSERT PARTNER) you’ll be one of those special people.

To that end, the Behavior Specialist role is a fantastic role to continue your career path in Social and Human Services with a myriad of career options to move up and across the organization.

(INSERT PARTNER) is seeking a Behavior Specialist to implement the treatment plan for behaviorally challenged and emotionally disturbed individuals by providing individual and/or group support and intervention. This individual may complete assessments and evaluations, develop a plan and teach based on the assessment. The Behavior Specialist may also assist with the intake process.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in psychology or related field and one year experience working with special populations in crisis intervention, staff training and development.
  • Conduct research in behavior analysis within an applied setting preferred.
  • Board Certification preferred
