Every person needs the support of others, but we look for very special people to assist at our day programs and residential homes. As a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)  with REM Mississippi you’ll be one of those special people.
 
For REM Mississippi and The MENTOR Network the LPN is critical to our success and exemplifies the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day.
 
To that end, the LPN/DSP role is a fantastic role to continue your career path in Social and Human Services with a myriad of career options to move up and across the organization.
 
REM Mississippi is seeking a Part-Time LPN to provide prescribed medical treatment and personal services under the direction of a Program Director.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
  • Two year college degree in nursing or related field or state certificate
  • Licensed to administer Medication in the state of Mississippi
  • Current LPN licensure for state of Mississippi
  • Other education and experience plus licensure as required by state such as CPR/FA, HIV/AIDS certification, BBP and ACT training preferred 
  • Current Valid Mississippi Drivers License and proof of insurance
  • Acceptable Driving Record
  • Will be expected to provide community based nursing consultation for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the geographic location of Brandon.
