As a Caregiver (Direct Support Professional, DSP) with SC MENTOR, you’ll be one of those extraordinary people. This position supports individuals we serve in residential settings. We seek a compassionate person to successfully provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. In this role you will also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. Our DSPs partner with clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.

The highest need schedules we are currently hiring for are the following:
- Part Time Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) - all shifts
- Shifts include 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), 3rd (11pm-7am)
· Initial Training Requirement: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm – Paid Training: Sessions are held Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm.
What we require of you:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Must be minimum of 18 years of age
Valid South Carolina driver’s license in good standing
Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
Successful clearance of background checks

Initial Training Requirement--Paid Training:
Mandatory paid training sessions are offered to new employees prior to providing care to individuals. While our DSP shifts occur 24/7, our Training sessions are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.
