residential programs. Providing round-the-clock care, we have full-time and part-time schedules open with all shifts available immediately.

As a Direct Support Professional, DSP with Georgia MENTOR, you’ll be one of those extraordinary people. This position supports individuals we serve in residential settings. We seek creative support professionals to effectively respond to behaviors while keeping the people we serve actively engaged. Provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. In this role you will also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. Our DSPs also partner with clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.

What we require of you:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Must be minimum of 18 years of age
Minimum of one year of experience in Direct Care strongly preferred
Valid Georgia Driver’s license with no suspensions due to moving violations in past 3 years
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
Must be able to successfully pass our licensure and background check process including education verification

Initial Training Requirement--Paid Training:
Two week, paid Orientation consisting of 8 days of classroom instruction with 2 days of shadowing.
