As a Caregiver (Direct Support Professional, DSP) with Arizona MENTOR, you’ll be one of those extraordinary people. This position supports individuals we serve in residential settings. We seek a compassionate person to successfully provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. In this role you will also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. You will also have an opportunity to enhance the quality of life for those we serve by supporting therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.

What we require of you:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Must be minimum of 18 years of age
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
A background check will be conducted for this position leading to a valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card

Initial Training Requirement--Paid Training:
Approximately 32 hours of mandatory paid training sessions offered to new employees prior to providing care to individuals. Sessions are held Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm.
