If so, look no further than REM Wisconsin! Our Direct Care team is fun, creative, and dedicated. The heart of what we do is to provide care and support to people with intellectual, physical, and behavioral disabilities. As a Caregiver (Direct Support Professional (DSP) with REM Wisconsin, you’ll support individuals we serve in residential settings throughout the community.
We continue to grow and support more people in the area!
We have openings for full time positions of all shifts (evenings, overnights, and weekends, or full time Float positions that could have some daytime set hours) in the La Crosse, Holmen, Onalaska, Cashton and West Salem areas. We are growing, having just opened up our newest home in Galesville.
Highest needs are: West Salem, Holmen, Overnights, and drivers with open availability.
Because we have so many locations, we have opportunities, and work well with people with other schedules to consider. We also have higher pay for those looking for Full time and have the ability to be flexible and communicates well. We also have Autism specialty homes in Holmen and Galesville with a higher starting wage, so if are interested, please ask about those options.
We seek a compassionate person to:
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care.
Support community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities.
Partner with other staff members to support individual service plans and goals.
What we require of you:
Must be minimum of 18 years of age
High school diploma, GED or equivalent NOT REQUIRED
Valid Driver’s license, and can pass last 12 month driving check (for day or evening positions- Not for overnights)
Must be able to lift minimum of 25 pounds
Successful clearance of background checks
